Natural Hydrogen Exploration

Gehyra Flux holds fifteen license applications for the exploration of natural hydrogen via its subsidiaries Cryptid Clean Energy, Gehyra Holdings and Gehyra Exploration across over 110,000km2, making it one of the largest portfolios for natural hydrogen exploration in Australia. Nine licenses are held at 100% working interest. Six licenses are held in 50% joint venture partnership with Lakes Blue Energy, where Gehyra Flux holds the hydrogen interests 100%.

Our portfolio has been designed to test a range of exploration play types, targeting different potential natural hydrogen sources including mantle flux, radiolysis and a variety of chemical pathways.

We are currently preparing for Native Title Negotiations prior to converting the applications to license status. Our priority will be working with Native Title stakeholders who have interests across multiple blocks.

Hydrogen Storage

While our primary focus is natural hydrogen exploration, Gehyra Flux successful large scale storage of natural hydrogen will be of increasing importance to our hydrogen export industry. Gehyra Flux holds two gas storage exploration license applications and one gas storage license.
